After two years of research and trials, we are proud to bring you British-made, plant-based Laundry Detergent Sheets that are kind to your skin, the environment and laundry. The effective plant-based cleaning power of these laundry sheets is from bio-based surfactants (cleaning agents) derived from coconut oil. The sheets do not contain any optical brighteners, enzymes, chlorine bleach or dyes. They are also paraben-free, phosphate-free and phthalate-free. Our laundry sheets contain PVOH, but they dissolve fully in water and contain no microplastics. If you have concerns over PVOH, please read our blog here. Our Laundry Sheets work effectively thanks to the power of plant-based and plant-derived ingredients.
The subtle fragrances are made from oils, not synthetic fragrances and are purposely kept at low levels (less than 1% fragrance) so that our products are gentle on the skin and pose no threat to aquatic life. We recommend choosing the unscented variant to avoid irritation if you have sensitive skin, skin allergies, or suffer from eczema.
The Laundry Sheets are suitable for all types of fabric, but please always follow the manufacturer’s guidance on the label. Our Laundry Sheets are suitable for use if you have a septic tank and are suitable for both soft and hard water areas (although please note the usage instructions below). You can use our Laundry Sheets at low temperatures (from 20 degrees Celsius) and for handwashing. Store your Laundry Sheets in our handy Storage Tin.
Instructions for use
- Use one sheet for each 5-8kg of washing. If you live in a hard water area, we recommend using two sheets.
- Use two sheets for washing loads over 8kg or heavily soiled items (Heavily soiled items should be pre-treated with our Stain Remover Spray, or you can add an Oxygen Tablet to your wash)
- Add to your washing machine drum, then add your laundry
- For handwashing, use half a sheet for a small load and one sheet for over five items. Add to warm water and agitate to dissolve.
- For wool, silk and delicate items, we recommend tearing the Laundry Sheet in two and adding it to the drawer rather than the drum.
- Packaging is recyclable, so please dispose of it in your recycling bin
